2017 applications are now open
Applications for the 2017 Clore Social Leadership Fellowship are now open. You can apply online here and find the prospectus and application guidance notes here.
The deadline for applications is midday on Monday 5 September 2016.
This year we are urging the social sector to help us find the next generation of leaders by nominating the most talented people in their organisations to apply - people who they believe can make social change happen.
Now in it’s eighth year, the programme is for emerging leaders who are committed to transforming their organisations, the sector and the wider community. To date, 125 emerging leaders have completed the Fellowship, and this year the dynamic 12-month programme is open to people across the sector encompassing both general and specialist Fellowships.
‘We are thrilled to open applications today to find the next generation of social leaders’, said Shaks Ghosh, Chief Executive of Clore Social Leadership. ‘The aim of our programme is to generate collaborative leaders who will effectively guide their organisations and the sector through today’s social challenges to rebuild trust.’
Dr Jane Collins, Chief Executive of Marie Curie, a charity that supports people through terminal illness, further backs the need to find future leaders. ‘Developing a leadership pipeline is imperative for the sector and we are delighted that Clore Social Leadership is helping to fulfill this. Their programme encourages sector organisations to look at their leadership requirements to ensure our beneficiaries are well supported.’
Those who are keen to learn and invest in their leadership development can apply online today until midday on Monday 5 September 2016 by visiting here. People working in UK based charities - including international NGOs, foundations and trusts - social enterprises, housing associations, community organisations and cooperatives can apply.
