Sally is the Head of Delivery at ThinkForward UK, a charity providing long term coaching for young people. She is responsible for the delivery team of 21 staff. Sally joined Tomorrow’s People in 2012 to manage ThinkForward when they were commissioned by PEF to deliver the DWP Innovation Fund. Prior to that she was Operations Manager for the youth football charity Street League.
Sally has a BA in Modern European Languages from Liverpool University. Having spent extensive time living and studying abroad she was determined to give other young people the opportunity to experience life in another country. Sally joined the Prince’s Trust in the year 2000 to work on their European Programme, initially running residentials for young people, then leading the programme for the Trust. She spent nine years there with the final three years as Head of Programmes.
Having worked in the youth sector for 16 years Sally is passionate about giving young people opportunities to flourish. Since working on ThinkForward and becoming a mother, Sally is increasingly convinced of the impact of early intervention and has recently become a governor of a special school in her local community in Hackney.
