Amelia is the Founder and Director of The Advocacy Academy,a youth movement working to unleash the power of disadvantaged young Londoners to create a more just and equal society.

A highly experienced educator and trainer, Amelia has worked in leadership development and youth empowerment for 10 years. Her professional background is in politics - as a Legislative Assistant in Washington D.C. and, more recently, as John Mann MP’s Parliamentary Researcher. Amelia read History at Pembroke College, Cambridge.
Amelia is passionate about bringing together the worlds of social justice and education. She believes that there is no better way for young people to change their own lives than by improving the lives of others.
