Masterclass information

The 2020s are shaping up to be a challenging time for leaders with ongoing rapid change and uncertainty. How do we keep performing well in this sort of context, and encourage our colleagues and teams to do the same?

This new masterclass, delivered in partnership with Humantalk Limited, helps leaders develop sustainable leadership performance in response to the challenges and opportunities of 2021 and beyond. Understand how our emerging context and the pressures we face as leaders can impact our mental health and performance, discover how to build and maintain your mental fitness, and learn how you can support your team to do the same.

The Mental Fitness masterclass is a three-hour class delivered by zoom.

Eligibility criteria

Social leaders

Although open to all levels of leadership, this masterclass will be aimed at emerging and experienced leaders, with 3+ years' leadership experience. This experience could be paid or voluntary, and can include leading projects, teams, volunteers and/or departments in the social sector.

Working for social purpose

This refers to organisations or freelance work with a social purpose, including charities, social enterprises, CICs, CSR departments, etc.

Passionate about social change

Your interest in using your leadership skills and knowledge to help make the world a better place is key.

Keen to develop

Your determination to develop yourself so you can lead social change effectively is all you need to take part in the programme.

This Mental Fitness™ masterclass will explore the impact such an environment can have on us as leaders, invite you to reflect on how you personally experience stress and in considering how to respond, offer you a series of healthy leadership strategies.
