The Peer Journeys Programme is a 4-week self-guided programme that enables social sector leaders to share, discuss and attempt to resolve a challenge from their place of work.
We learn most when doing challenging things with other people. Do you have an issue at work? A challenge that you are trying to overcome? Share it with your peers in our Peer Journey Programme.
Meet with your cohort for the first time to outline your organisation and the leadership challenge you face within it.
Strategise on how to implement the solution suggested by your cohort, as well as suggesting ideas to support your new colleagues.
Feedback on the results of the previous week. What went well and what can be improved.
The final week offers the chance to sumarise what you've learnt from your peers, the challenges you've overcome, and those you expect to face in the future.
Once assigned to your groups, you will agree a time when you can all meet to begin your peer journey together.
Any tasks will be decided and designed by the course participants. We suggest these take place in week two to allow time for review.
The four weekly meetings should last roughly an hour each, with the option to chat and network longer for those who desire it.
Meetings can take place on the video platform that suits you, or in person should all parties be happy to meet.
People of all experience levels who want to develop digital skills are welcome. However, we suggest newer and emerging leaders will particularly benefit from the course.
It’s different from each group, but generally four weeks of hourly sessions.
Yes. The course is designed to be flexible to your schedules. The course will require you to spend 1-2 hours per week.
