We know it's been hard!
Let's not kid ourselves. The last 19 months have been tough. Leading and managing projects, people and/or boards and organisations while attempting to look after ourselves has been more challenging than ever. Many of us will have experienced times in
our lives when we weren't able to bring our best selves to work, when our own reserves were depleted. But what about when most of us are feeling that way? And what about when people look to you for help and leadership when you don't feel strong enough
to lead yourself? The way the sector has responded to the pandemic has been inspirational, but it has also been draining, and we are here to offer some advice!
Have you had to manage underperformance within your team? Is your team or organisation
going through their own mental health pandemic? How do you deal with this when you are also feeling burnt out and have no spare capacity within the organisation? There are coaching techniques that can enable you to lead, support and motivate your
team and yourself. This, along with an understanding of HR procedures, can empower you to lead an effective team.
