The Wellbeing of Future Generations Act

Jane Davidson and Chris Bolton will be joining Kate Carr for a Q&A session exploring what the Wellbeing of Future Generations Act means for good governance and accountability.

Jane Davidson was Welsh Government Minister for Environment & Sustainability, where she proposed legislation to make sustainability the central organising principle; proposing the Wellbeing of Future Generations (Wales) Act. #futuregen: lessons from a small country. She is Pro Vice-Chancellor Emeritus at the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

Chris Bolton is known for his work at Audit Wales and is Chair of Merthyr Valley Homes. Chris has been walking the talk of sustainability throughout his career and understands the pressures organisations are under when it comes to balancing competing demands.

It promises to be an interesting conversation with opportunities for audience questions.

This session is open to everyone in the third sector in Wales but will be particularly aimed at those who are members of a Board or aspire to be in the near future.

Please indicate in the registration form if you require a Welsh translation and details of how we can help make this event accessible.

We hope to see you there!
