Clore Social Leadership has today announced the names of the twenty-eight social and cultural sector leaders that will join the HEY100 Emerging Leader Programme. The seven-month programme for high-performing managers and emerging leaders in Hull and East Yorkshire will run from May - November 2018. Based on Clore Social Leadership’s sector leading development programmes, it will provide participant with the skills necessary to succeed as a leader in the social and cultural sectors.
The announcement coincides with the opening of applications for the HEY100 New To Management programme, which is aimed at the new managers and future leaders of HEY’s social and cultural sectors. Running from August - November the New To Management programme will train participants in the skills and techniques of effective management, and challenge them to develop solutions to some of the issues facing their sectors and communities. Those interested should apply at www.HEY100.org.uk ahead of the closing date on 29 May.

The HEY100 Leadership Programme was developed with the support of the Big Lottery Fund, The Rank Foundation, Arts Council England and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. HEY100 is ‘place-based’ in its approach and has been developed with a steering group of cultural and social sector leaders and stakeholders from Hull and East Yorkshire. The year-long programme will run throughout 2018, and includes training for community leaders, those who are new to managents, CEOs and trustees.
Earlier this year, two hundred people attended the HEY100 launch event in Hull with leadership insights from Jamie Peacock MBE, Dawn Austwick OBE, Helen Bissett, David Sanderson MBE and JJ Tatten.
