We are delighted to announce a new Emerging Leader Programme running from September 2019 to March 2020, designed for social leaders who are keen to build their leadership skills and become more effective in their roles.

The programme will run for 6 months and is structured to fit around existing leadership commitments, providing a blended approach which allows for self-directed learning, while offering the opportunity to work together with a group of peers who will support, challenge and inspire each other.

Drawing on all aspects of our Social Leaders’ Capabilities Framework which outlines the attributes, behaviours and skills required to become successful social leaders, the programme is designed to increase self-awareness, confidence, resilience, and generate tangible leadership behaviour change.

This immersive leadership development journey will provide access to individual coaching, online courses, peer-to-peer learning, real-life challenges - all with the aim equipping participants with the tools and techniques necessary to lead personal, organisational, and sector-wide social change.

As it aims to cultivate UK-wide collaborations between social leaders across sectors and organisations, the programme includes subsidised places for individuals working for organisations based in Northern Ireland and Wales.

Recruitment is now open, with 24 places available for social leaders seeking to boost their leadership skills. Applications will close on Monday, 24 June 2019, at midnight.
