The Emerging Leader Programme 2021 has launched with over 25 Welsh social sector leaders seeking to enhance and refine their leadership capabilities and make a real and lasting impact within the sector.

This six-month development journey taking place from September 2021 – March 2022 aims to help build a stronger sector led by skilled, empowered, and generous social leaders through online courses, individual coaching, action learning, and peer-to-peer learning and support. The programme learning draws on all aspects of our Social Leaders’ Capabilities Framework which outlines the attributes, behaviours and skills required to further develop social leadership.

A previous participant quotes: "The programme offers a unique space to learn about ourselves and how we can impact others, alongside other inspiring professionals committed to playing bigger to change the world."

The cohort consists of leaders working across a variety of Welsh social sector organisations, including:

  • Adverse Childhood Experience Support Hub
  • Asylum Matters
