A new fully-funded programme for leaders in Cornwall!

20 May 2025   (0 Comments)

This September, we are bringing together emerging leaders from around Cornwall together for a fully-funded programme that will help them accelerate social impact in their communities.

During the nine-month programme, participants will explore social learning modules, Action Learning sets, the Lumina Spark personality profile, an in-person residential, and more!

The outcomes of this nine-month programme will include:

-Increased capacity for strategic leadership
-Renewed energy and resilience
-Enhanced collaboration and networking
-Fast-tracked growth and impact
-Become a Clore Social Fellow
-Become part of the Henry Smith Charity network

Speaking on the programme, Amit Chadda, Director of Programmes said -

“Leadership isn’t defined by a title - it’s demonstrated by those driven to create meaningful change in their communities, empowering others along the way. In Cornwall, we see these leaders emerge from lived experience, grassroots organising, and community action - often working against the odds in a constantly shifting social landscape. This programme exists to nurture and empower social and voluntary sector leaders in Cornwall with the tools, networks, and strategic skills they need to thrive. It supports them to lead with clarity and resilience while tackling pressing local issues like housing insecurity, hidden poverty, and climate resilience. By strengthening their capacity, we strengthen the communities they support.”

Applications close on Tuesday 22 July at 11:59 pm and you can apply here. To learn more about the programme click here.
