Alumni Residential - Help shape Clore Social’s next chapter and refresh your practice
19 September 2025
We are opening applications for 20 places at our Alumni Residential on 20-21 November 2025 at Ashorne Hill, Leamington Spa. This is an opportunity to help shape and refine our next organisational strategy – whilst refreshing and strengthening your own practice and wellbeing. This comes at a time of profound change for society and the social sector. It has never felt more urgent to come together – to understand what society is experiencing, how it is reshaping the sector, and what leaders need to respond with equity, tangible change and care for communities, whilst sustaining their own wellbeing. Leadership is not about job titles; it is how we step forward and shape change. We turn to your insight, lived experience and voice to guide and strengthen this process. What this Residential offers you - Build your practice: Tools and space to reflect on and sharpen your organisational and personal strategies.
- Re-experience a Clore Social residential: Rooted in Know yourself, Be yourself, Look after yourself – reconnect with peers, reflect, and nourish your wellbeing.
- Shape our strategy: Help refine Clore Social’s next chapter, tackling big questions around equity and the future of leadership.
- Special speakers and expert facilitators: Sessions will be supported by guest speakers and experienced facilitators, ensuring your practice and wellbeing remain at the heart of the residential.
Why this matters
We are committed to changing the face of leadership so that it reflects the society we serve – especially those who access social purpose organisations. We cannot do this alone. Partnering with you, our fellows and alumni, ensures leaders who have lacked access to development can receive it, strengthening the sector when it is most needed. Who should apply We want the room to reflect the richness of our community. We particularly encourage applications across diverse ethnicities, ages, sectors, geographies and organisational contexts (from grassroots to major institutions). We actively welcome people from a diverse range of lived experiences. If you have access requirements, please let us know – adjustments and travel bursaries are available. This is our starting point – a cohort of 20. As the process unfolds, we will widen input through additional and remote engagement. Key details
