Your donation doubles. The impact for women and girls multiplies.Women and girls’ charitable services are a lifeline. The people behind them are extraordinary. They help women and girls live safely, access support and have their voices heard. Your donation will invest in the people behind vital services, equipping them to respond to rising demand, strengthen their organisations and create lasting change. Every eligible donation made through the Big Give Women & Girls Match Fund will be doubled. Donations can be made from 6 - 13 October 2026. Help create greater impact for women and girlsAcross the UK, women and girls' organisations provide a huge range of vital services, support and advocacy. From responding to domestic abuse and violence against women and girls, to challenging sexism and online misogyny, helping women and girls feel safer, and advocating for equality at work and across society. Their work is urgently needed. In Girlguiding's 2025 survey, 68% of girls and young women aged 11 to 21 said they had changed their everyday behaviour in the previous year to avoid sexual harassment. More than half, 56%, said they did not feel safe on public transport on their own.1

had already reduced the level or number of services they offered. As demand for vital services rises while funding and resources remain severely constrained, women and girls face greater barriers to accessing the support they need. This can mean fewer opportunities to reach safety, improve their health and wellbeing, build financial independence or have their experiences represented in the decisions that affect them.2 Behind these services are people working under intense and sustained pressure. Rosa found that 59% of surveyed women and girls' organisations did not have sufficient staff to meet their objectives. Insecure funding, unfilled vacancies and long hours leave people responding to increasingly complex needs with too little capacity and limited support for their own wellbeing and development.2 What your donation will make possibleThis October, we are raising funds to provide fully funded places on leadership development programmes for people working across the women and girls' sector. Developed in partnership with Rosa and tailored to the sector's needs, the programmes will help participants build strategic and practical skills, trusted relationships and peer support. They can apply this learning to strengthen their teams, organisations and services, and work with others to create wider change for women and girls. See how investing in the sector creates wider impactHear from people who have taken part in our Women and Girls leadership development programmes and used their learning to strengthen their organisations and their work for women and girls. How your donation creates change for women and girlsYour donation invests in the women and girls' sector by equipping people working across its organisations to create greater change. Our programmes bring together people at different stages of their careers to develop the practical skills, strategic capability and connections they need to respond to pressure and drive sustained change. They apply and share their learning within their teams and organisations, then build stronger relationships across the sector to support collaboration and collective action. The result is stronger services, more sustainable organisations and greater impact for women and girls. More women and girls get the support they needLeadership development helps organisations improve services and respond to changing needs, so more women and girls can access specialist support, opportunities, safety and advocacy when they need them. Stronger, more sustainable organisationsPeople apply and share their learning to strengthen teams, improve how organisations work and help sustain the vital services women and girls rely on. A connected sector that achieves more togetherShared learning and stronger connections help organisations collaborate, solve common challenges and increase their collective influence. Participants also join a wider alumni network through which relationships, peer support and collaboration can continue beyond the programme. People with greater influence to drive changePeople working across the sector strengthen their ability to shape strategy, influence decisions and act on the issues affecting women and girls, within their organisations and beyond. Leadership development is the catalyst. The impact is stronger services, more effective organisations and a more connected sector working together so more women and girls can access support, live safely and have a say in decisions that affect their lives. What your donation will supportThe programmes will support people working to create change at different stages of their careers, from those beginning to take on leadership responsibilities to experienced decision makers. Combining Clore Social Leadership's 16 years of experience with Rosa's specialist knowledge of the women and girls' sector, they will include coaching, mentoring and peer learning alongside strategic and practical leadership development. Participants will strengthen how they support their teams, shape organisational decisions, improve services and influence wider change. They will also build trusted relationships, share solutions and collaborate across the sector. All funds raised through the campaign will support leadership development across the women and girls' sector. Participants will have opportunities to:

They've been there to support me and provided opportunities for collaboration; just recently I've worked with another fellow from the programme to plan an event to inspire young Girlguiding members to consider careers in politics.” Hannah Taaffe, GirlguidingWhy Clore Social Leadership?Clore Social Leadership has spent 16 years developing people who create social change.
