The unwavering dedication and generous leadership of so many across the social sector has made the world a better place for us all this year.
Our social sector colleagues - co-workers, volunteers, teams, communities - have made an invaluable impact on our personal and professional lives, which deserves to be recognised and celebrated.
This is why we want to say #ThankYouSocialLeader to each and every one of you and invite you to say the same to those who have made a difference to you, your organisation, or the cause you are fighting for, over the year.
Gratitude can go a long way in helping those who have supported us feel seen, appreciated, and valued. Starting on Tuesday 1 December and concluding on Monday 7 December 2020, we will be dedicating a week to gratitude by running #ThankYouSocialLeader, an online campaign everyone is welcome to join.
Here is how you can take part:
- Think about someone who has made a difference to you. This could be a co-worker, volunteer, your team or just someone you know who has inspired you in one way or another.
- Using the hashtag #ThankYouSocialLeader and @CloreSocial, and tagging those you are addressing, post your message of gratitude on any social media platform of your choice, between 1-7 December 2020.
- Feel free to use photos, videos and images to accompany your message.
- As with anything, gratitude is best shared. Pass this message forward to your networks and invite them to join in.
Please note to only start posting on Tuesday 1 December and don’t forget to include #ThankYouSocialLeader.
