Social Leaders Cymru: Introducing the 2021 New Managers Cohort

The New Manager Programme 2021 has launched with over 35 Welsh social sector managers seeking to enhance and refine their leadership capabilities and make a real and lasting impact within the sector. The programme takes place from November 2021 – April 2022, and aims to help build a stronger sector led by skilled, empowered, and generous social leaders. The programme learning draws on all aspects of our Social Leaders’ Capabilities Framework
which outlines the attributes, behaviours and skills required to further develop social leadership. Topics included on the programme include: managing risk, finances, and new thinking within the sector. The cohort
consists of new managers working across a variety of Welsh social sector organisations, including:
