Announcing the Leadership Lab: West Yorkshire Participants

06 May 2022

Our first-ever Leadership Lab launches next week with over 25 Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic Leaders based in West Yorkshire.

The two-month programme is designed to create a safe space for BAME social leaders to explore and build their leadership potential, strengthen their networks, and drive social change. This unique leadership development journey takes place from May – July 2022 and has been co-designed with local partners and is funded by the National Lottery. The programme learning draws on all aspects of our Social Leaders’ Capabilities Framework which outlines the attributes, behaviours and skills required to further develop social leadership.

The cohort consists of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic leaders working for organisations across West Yorkshire, including:

  • Association of Blind Asians
  • Business in the Community
  • Chapeltown and Harehills Learning Project
  • CommUnity
  • Dream Big, Aim High
  • Good Deeds
  • Hamara HLC
  • Health for All Leeds
  • Heritage Corner, Leeds
  • Human Appeal
  • Key Fund Investments
  • Leeds Muslim Youth Forum
  • Life Inspired Wellness LTD
  • Natural England
  • Nigeria Youth SDGs Network
